Seth found me after I commented on one of his posts about animal fat and sleep, and I was happy to answer questions about my diet's positive effect on sleep quality. I know I'm just one data point, but I see self-experimentation as more about new ideas for research than conclusions. Read about an interesting effect of a lifestyle change, try it on yourself, and see what happens. I read about Paleolithic eating on this blog first, and saw increasing evidence about its benefits, and far less about its downsides or risks (My main reading list can be found here). Three weeks out, I love it, but I'm still learning both about the science of it, and also about its effects on my body. Feel free to share or ask me anything on the topic; I'm certainly not an expert, but I might be able to point you at some answers.
